范围、协同副词:都、一块儿、一起
fàn wéi 、 xié tóng fù cí : dōu 、 yí kuàir 、 yì qǐ
Adverbs of scope and togetherness: 都 (all/both), 一块儿/一起 (together)
Explanation
An adverb (副词 - fùcí) is a word that modifies a verb or adjective. This group indicates scope and togetherness: 都 (dōu - all/both), 一块儿 (yíkuàir) and 一起 (yìqǐ), both meaning 'together'.
Subject (the person or thing performing the action, at the start of the sentence) (plural) + 都 (dōu) + verb/adjective → 同学们都很认真 (the classmates are all very diligent). With 一起/一块儿: Subject + 一起/一块儿 + verb → 一起去 (go together).
都 is used to say 'all of them, no exceptions' and always comes AFTER the subject it covers and BEFORE the verb/adjective. 一起 and 一块儿 are almost interchangeable; 一块儿 has a more colloquial flavor.
placing 都 in the wrong position - it must be 我们都去 (we all go), do NOT say 都我们去. The subject before 都 must be plural or refer to a whole group; 一起/一块儿 must come before the verb, not at the end of the sentence.
