What is HSK?

How many HSK levels are there?

HSK 3.0 (2021) has 9 levels. HSK 1-2 are beginner (roughly A1-A2 CEFR), HSK 3-4 intermediate (B1-B2), HSK 5-6 advanced (C1-C2), and HSK 7-9 is the proficiency tier (academic, translation). Each level requires a different amount of vocabulary and grammar points.

How long does it take to learn HSK?
