S + 会 + 动词

会 is placed before a verb to express a learned ability or an acquired skill.

我会唱歌。

wǒhuìchànggē。

I can sing.

他会说中文。

tāhuìshuōzhōngwén。

He can speak Chinese.

Wanting to do something

S + 想 + 动词

想 is placed before a verb to express a wish or intention to do something.

我想喝茶。

wǒxiǎnghēchá。

I want to drink tea.

她想去图书馆。

tāxiǎngqùtúshūguǎn。

She wants to go to the library.
