Frequently asked questions
Can I cancel Premium anytime?+
Yes. You can cancel under Profile → Settings → Subscription. After canceling, you keep Premium until the end of the current billing period, then switch back to Free automatically.
If I downgrade to Free, do I lose my learning data?+
No. All your progress (learned vocab, SRS, streaks, exam results) is kept. You only lose access to Premium features.
Is there a Premium trial?+
There's no free trial yet, but Free already includes all of HSK 1 with flashcards, listening, quizzes and TTS audio — enough to judge the quality. The AI Tutor and AI chat are Premium features.
Is there a student discount?+
Not at the moment — there's no separate student discount. That said, the Free plan already includes all of HSK 1, so you can learn for free before deciding to upgrade.
How do I pay?+
We accept PayPal, plus credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) processed securely through PayPal. All prices are in USD.
I paid but don't see the upgrade?+
It sometimes takes 1-2 minutes to process. If it's still missing after 10 minutes, use the 'Refresh payment status' button on the Settings page. Still stuck → email your transaction code to support@.
