Asking the Way to the Bank

我想去银行，可是不知道路。

I want to go to the bank, but I don't know the way.

我问一位先生：“请问，银行在哪儿？”

I asked a gentleman: 'Excuse me, where is the bank?'

他说：“银行在前面，不远。”

He said: 'The bank is up ahead, not far.'

“你往前走，银行在医院的旁边。”

'Keep walking straight ahead; the bank is next to the hospital.'

我谢谢他，然后往前走。

I thanked him, and then walked straight ahead.

很快我就到了银行。

Very soon I arrived at the bank.
