Learning to Cook with Mom

这个周末，我决定跟妈妈学做饭。

This weekend, I decided to learn to cook with my mom.

我们先去市场买了菜、鱼和鸡蛋。

First we went to the market and bought vegetables, fish, and eggs.

回家以后，妈妈让我先把菜洗干净。

After getting home, Mom told me to wash the vegetables clean first.

妈妈说，做饭的时候一定要注意安全。

Mom said that when cooking, you must always pay attention to safety.

我第一次做的菜有点儿咸，但是妈妈说还可以。

The first dish I made was a little salty, but Mom said it was okay.

做完饭，我们一起坐下来吃。

After finishing cooking, we sat down to eat together.

爸爸尝了以后，笑着说我做得不错。

After Dad tasted it, he smiled and said I did well.

我觉得自己做的饭特别好吃，也学到了很多。

I think the food I cooked myself was especially delicious, and I learned a lot too.
