Learning to Save Money

以前我不太会用钱。

I used to be bad at managing money.

我经常买一些其实不需要的东西。

I often bought things that I didn't actually need.

所以每个月的钱都花得很快。

So my money was always spent very quickly each month.

后来，爸爸告诉我应该学会存钱。

Later, my dad told me I should learn to save money.

他说买东西以前要先想一想价格。

He said that before buying something, I should think about the price first.

现在我每个月都把一些钱放进银行。

Now I put some money into the bank every month.

便宜又好的东西，我才会买。

I only buy things that are both cheap and good.

存钱虽然不容易，但是这个习惯很重要。

Saving money isn't easy, but this habit is very important.
