Xiao Nan, what do you want to do this evening?
小南
我想先跑一下，再去打球。你呢？
I want to run a bit first, then play ball. And you?
小林
我不太喜欢打球。我喜欢在家里听歌，也喜欢看电影。
I don’t much like playing ball. I like listening to songs at home, and watching films.
小南
好的。打球后，我们一起去唱歌，好吗？
OK. After playing ball, shall we go singing together?
小林
有时候唱，但是我唱得不好，朋友说不好听。
Sometimes I sing, but I don't sing well; my friends say it doesn't sound good.
小南
没关系，唱歌高兴就好。那我先去跑一会儿，回来见！
No worries — singing is fun and that’s what counts. I’ll go for a run; see you later!
小林
好。你回来就进来喝茶。
OK. When you get back, come in for some tea.
小南
好啊！我八点进来找你。
