On a Sunday morning, three friends set off for the park together, but one of them is starving, so food comes first.
Before Setting Off
星期天早上，天气很好。小美打电话给两个朋友。
It was a beautiful Sunday morning. Xiaomei called two of her friends.
Xiaomei
喂，小李，今天我们去吧！
Hey, Xiaoli, let's go to the park today!
Xiaoli
好啊，可是我还没吃东西，有点。
Sure, but I haven't eaten anything yet. I'm a little hungry.
Xiaowang
没问题，路上买碗，边走边吃。
No problem—we'll grab a bowl of noodles on the way and eat as we walk.
Inside the Park
三个人走进。小美一直往前看。
The three of them walked into the park. Xiaomei kept looking ahead.
Xiaomei
这里有海吗？我想看海。
Is there a sea here? I'd love to see the ocean.
Xiaoli
里没有海，不过你看那些树，多高啊！
There's no sea in a park, but look at those trees—they're so tall!
Xiaowang
快看，前面那么多人在，我们也去看看！
Quick, look—so many people are dancing up ahead. Let's go check it out!
On the Way Home
天快黑了，三个人坐上回家的。
It was getting dark, so the three of them boarded the bus home.
Xiaoli
今天玩得真高兴，我都不了。
Today was so much fun—I'm not even hungry anymore.
Xiaomei
下个星期天，我们再来！
Next Sunday, we've definitely got to come back!
