Xiao Hong wheels her suitcase off the train, setting foot in the big city for the first time to chase her dream. The streets are noisy, the buildings tower into the sky, and a cousin is waiting for her outside the hotel.
Just Off the Train
火车一停，小红就拉着下来了。
The moment the train stopped, Xiao Hong stepped off, dragging her suitcase along.
她抬头一看，街道两边全是，比照片里还要高。
She looked up and saw tall buildings lining both sides of the street, even taller than in the photos.
“这就是大城市啊。”她小声地对自己说。

宾馆门口，有个人一边招手一边大声叫她的名字。
Outside the hotel, someone was waving and calling out her name.

小红，这边！路上累不累呀？

哥，还好。就是有点，怕做不好这份工作。
