从前，有一只狼生活在深山老林里。
Once upon a time, there was a wolf that lived deep in the remote mountains and forests.
Narration

Every day it had to toil for food, its life full of uncertainty.
一天，它远远看见山下的村庄，那里的人们生活。
One day, it saw the village at the foot of the mountain from afar, where the people lived stable lives.
The wolf
狼对自己说：“我多想过那种但的生活啊！”
The wolf said to itself: "How I wish I could have that plain but stable life!"

The witch's offer
一个自称能实现愿望的巫婆找到了狼。
A witch who claimed she could grant wishes came to the wolf.
Witch

The witch said: "I can turn you into a human, but you must give up your freedom in exchange."
The wolf

A forced, awkward life
