What's the difference between solo and 1v1?

Solo is practising to set your own high score. 1v1 versus pairs you with an opponent on the same question set to compare scores head-to-head.

How to play

Each row is a word: its clue is the meaning and each square holds one pinyin letter (no tones). The rows are shifted so the red column spells a hidden KEYWORD. Tap a row or a clue to pick it, then type the pinyin. Solve every row and the keyword appears — or guess the keyword early. Tap Hint to see the Chinese word, or Show answer to open it — an opened word counts as wrong.
