HSK 1 is free for every game. HSK 2-9 need a Premium account, just like the lessons.

Can I play on a phone?

Yes. Every game runs straight in the browser on phone and desktop, with nothing to install.

What's the difference between solo and 1v1?

Solo is practising to set your own high score. 1v1 versus pairs you with an opponent on the same question set to compare scores head-to-head.

How to play

A 6×6 field hides 7 mines. Tap a tile to probe it: pick the right meaning of the Chinese word and the tile opens, showing how many mines touch it in the 8 tiles around. A wrong pick costs a life, and so does opening a mine. Turn on Flag mode (or right-click) to mark a suspected mine. The first tile is always safe. Open every safe tile to win — lose all three lives and the run is over.

Why learn Chinese with games?
