承接复句
Successive compound sentences (承接复句)
Explanation
This is a compound sentence expressing two or more actions happening in time sequence. Usually no connecting word is used; the clauses are placed side by side in chronological order, for example: 吃了晚饭,我们出去走走 (After eating dinner, we go out for a walk). You may use connectives such as 先⋯⋯再/然后⋯⋯ to emphasize the sequence, for example: 你先去超市买东西,再回家 (First go to the supermarket to buy things, then go home).
