对于
duì yú
对于 (duìyú) - Regarding / As for
Explanation
对于 (duìyú) is a preposition (a word placed before a noun to indicate a relationship), used to introduce the OBJECT or TOPIC toward which a comment or action is directed, equivalent to "đối với" (with regard to / as for) in Vietnamese.
对于 (duìyú) + object/topic, + the comment or action. The phrase 对于... usually stands at the head of the sentence to emphasize the object, and is often followed by a comma.
when you want to introduce a matter, issue, or field as the background for expressing an attitude, evaluation, or something to be done, e.g. 对于这个问题 (with regard to this issue).
对于 (duìyú) and 对 (duì) both mean "with regard to", but 对 is used more broadly and can indicate the direction of a concrete action toward a person (e.g. 对我笑 "to smile at me"), whereas 对于 leans toward introducing a topic or object of discussion and usually is not used for an action directed straight at a person.
Vietnamese learners often use 对于 where only 对 is allowed (e.g. 对我很好 "to be very kind to me", not 对于我很好). Also, do not place 对于 after the verb; it must come before the object.
