“有”字句3

Structure "有" Part 3

Explanation

This structure has two main uses. The first uses '有 + 着' to emphasize the existence or a lasting quality, e.g., '他们之间有着很深的误会' (there is a deep misunderstanding between them). The second places '有' after a verb to indicate attachment or connection, as in '书上写有他的名字' (his name is written on the book). Note that '着' makes the sentence more formal.
