Explanation

A three-layer complex sentence is a compound sentence with three or more clauses, linked by conjunctions (such as 而且, 所以, 但, 以免, 只要...就..., 也会...) to express a more complex meaning. For example, '他对中文感兴趣，而且对中国文化也十分好奇，所以决定去中国留学，但遭到了父母的反对' has four successive clauses. When using it, you must ensure the logic among the parts and use appropriate conjunctions to keep the flow clear.
