动词(+宾语1)+就+动词(+宾语1 ),别⋯⋯
dòng cí ( + bīn yǔ 1 ) + jiù + dòng cí ( + bīn yǔ 1 ) , bié ⋯ ⋯
The structure “verb (+object 1) + 就 + verb (+object 1), 别…”
Explanation
This is a type of condensed compound sentence (a multi-clause sentence compressed by omitting the linking conjunctions), used to express a resolute attitude: accepting the matter while at the same time asking the other party not to go too far.
verb (+ object 1 — the thing acted upon) + 就 (jiù) + repetition of the same verb (+ object 1), 别 (bié, don't) + ...
走就走 (jiù, go if you must go), 说几句就说几句 (say a few words if you must). The repeated part, linked by 就, expresses 'accept it, it's no big deal'.
in colloquial speech, when you want to say 'fine, let that be as it is, but don't...' — carrying a slightly annoyed, indifferent, or defiant nuance.
the 就 (jiù) in the middle links the two repetitions of the same verb, creating the sense of 'resigning oneself to accept it'.
changing the verb in the two clauses so they differ (they must be repeated EXACTLY: 走就走, not 走就跑); and forgetting the 别... clause that follows, which makes the sentence lose the meaning 'but don't go too far'.
Examples
Go if you must go, but don't use this to threaten me!
So they said a few things, so what — don't take it too much to heart.
