Wanting to do something

S + 想 + 动词

To express the wish or intention to do something, we use the structure "Subject + 想 + Verb". Here "想" is an auxiliary verb placed before the main verb.

我想去洗手间。

xiǎngshǒujiān

I want to go to the restroom.

弟弟想玩儿。

My younger brother wants to play.

Where / At what place

在 + Nơi chốn

To indicate the location or place where an action happens, we use "在" before a noun of place. This structure usually goes together with a verb.

我在路上。

I am on the way.
