S + 在/正在 + 动词 + 宾语在 or 正在 is placed before the verb to indicate an action happening at the moment of speaking. 在 is more common in spoken language.

S + 快 + 动词 + 完 + 了This pattern expresses an action that is about to be completed. 快 and 完 combine with 了 at the end of the sentence to emphasize that something is almost finished.
我快做完工作了。
I'm about to finish my work.
我快打完电话了。
I'm about to finish the call.
