Grammar

Structure for wanting to introduce someone/something to someone

S + 想 + 介绍 + (人/物) + 给 + 人

This structure is used when the speaker wants to express a wish to introduce a person or thing to someone else. '介绍' is the main verb meaning to introduce, followed by the thing being introduced, and '给' indicates the person receiving the introduction.

我想介绍我的朋友给您。

xiǎngjièshàodepéngyǒugěinín

I'd like to introduce my friend to you.

她想介绍这个国家给你。

xiǎngjièshàozhègeguójiāgěi

She wants to introduce this country to you.

太 + 形容词 + 了

This structure is used to emphasize, showing a very high degree of an adjective. It often carries a tone of surprise or exclamation. '了' at the end of the sentence adds emotional emphasis to what is said.

这个球太远了!
