Explanation
This is how to state an inexact, approximate quantity. Structure 1 uses '数词 + 多 + 量词' (e.g.: 三十多本, 五十多斤), meaning 'more than thirty volumes', 'more than fifty jin'. Structure 2 uses '数词 + 量词 + 多' (e.g.: 三块多, 四米多, 七斤多), meaning 'more than three yuan', 'more than four meters', 'more than seven jin'. Note that structure 1 is usually used for round tens and above, while structure 2 is usually used for odd amounts or smaller units.
