HSK 3
趋向补语2
Complex directional complement 2
Explanation
This is the 'verb + complex directional complement' structure used to indicate the direction of movement or a change of state. The complement is placed after the main verb, such as '拿出 (take out)', '走出 (walk out)'. In the sentence, the position of the object (e.g.: 一本书, 教室) can be flexible: it can come after the entire verb phrase (拿出一本书来), in between the verb and the complement (拿出一本书来), or at the very end (拿出来一本书). All carry a similar meaning.
